In addition, she has decided to write a book about her journey: "I really want to continue to give people hope and to encourage them not to linger on the 'why,' but instead on how their journey can take them in the direction to fulfll their purpose in life and what they can do to help someone else in their journey." 6. MELISSA FLETCHER A new school year meant a new horizon for Melissa and her daughter, Izabella. Melissa couldn't have been happier: "I made it to see Izzy start school!" 7. BRIAN McCRARY When Brian fnished radiation, he and his oncologist, Sean Cavanaugh, MD, made a deal: Brian would dress up as his superhero for Halloween and come by the hospital if Dr. C would dress up as his favorite superhero.
